Upload attachments to a patient record

Add referral letters, consent PDFs, and results on the Attachments tab — files are scanned and stored securely in the EU.

Attachments keep documents with the patient record — separate from clinical Photos. Every file is malware-scanned before it can be opened, and storage is shared across your organisation (shown in Organisation Settings).

    Open Attachments

    1. Open the patient from Daily List or Patients.
    2. Select the Attachments tab.
    3. Upload or drag and drop files into the drop zone.

Attachments — PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, or text. Images belong on the Photos tab.

    What you can upload

    • Accepted: PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), Excel (.xls/.xlsx), CSV, and text — up to 25 MB each.
    • Multiple files in one upload are supported.
    • Use Photos for clinical before/after images, not Attachments.

    Tip

Check Attachment storage under Organisation Settings if uploads fail — your organisation has a shared allowance. Documenti's Free tier includes 5 GB.

    Note

Documenti Attachments are clinical documents on the patient record in Documenti. Staff files on the Clinic Membership patient card are separate — see Upload documents on a patient card.
