Male Patients Are the Fastest-Growing Group in UK Aesthetics

    14 September 2026

Male aesthetics enquiries are up 30% year on year in the UK (Adoreal, March 2026). If you run a small clinic and keep hearing that male demand is rising, you need a clear read before you change the diary.

    What the 30% actually means

Adoreal's figure is about enquiries. More men are asking. It does not tell you how many book, how much they spend, or whether they stay on a plan.

That still matters. Enquiry growth is enough to take seriously. It is not enough to invent a new revenue line in a team meeting.

    What owners notice first

Most clinics feel this in the diary before they see a slide. More first visits from men who have never had a treatment. More questions about skin health and maintenance than about a single "event" appointment. More evenings when the waiting room mix looks different from five years ago.

You do not need a new brand overnight. You do need ordinary front-of-house habits: clear answers, calm first visits, and a path back that does not depend on someone remembering to chase.

In the consult room, a new male patient often wants practical language and a clear next step. That is operations, not a campaign.

    A four-week check

    1. Count male first visits and male returning visits separately for one month. A rising enquiry line that never becomes a second visit is a different problem from a full diary.
    2. Write down the three questions new male patients ask most. Put plain answers on the website and in the consult script.
    3. Check whether your public menu language assumes a female reader. Fix the copy without inventing a separate brand.
    4. Train reception on the same calm first-visit path for every new adult patient. Do not create a "men's desk" that confuses the team.
    5. Only after that, decide whether a membership plan is worth opening.

How to talk about it in a meeting

"Fastest-growing" is sector language. Inside the clinic it should mean more enquiries to answer, more first visits to run well, and more pressure on the diary if you already feel scarce.

It should not mean abandoning the patients you already serve. It should not mean turning an enquiry percentage into a conversion rate. Keep the noun on the slide: enquiries.

When you are ready for plan design

If the four-week check says membership is next, use the plan posts already live on Clinic Membership:

    Where Clinic Membership helps

Clinic Membership is clinic management software for UK aesthetics clinics: patients, calendar, memberships, payments and reports in one place. Free covers up to 10 patient records. Later amounts are on pricing.

Auto-onboarding runs on every plan, including Free, and a clinic can be live in under 60 minutes on the operational side. That helps you see who is returning. It does not create male demand on its own.

    What to do this week

    1. Put the Adoreal enquiry figure on one slide for the team, with the word "enquiries" written in full.
    2. Run the four-week check above before you rewrite the offer.
    3. Open the plan posts only when that decision is real.

Male patients are a fast-growing group in UK aesthetics if you measure by enquiry growth. The useful response for a small clinic is calmer operations and clearer first visits.

Enquiry growth is enough to justify attention. It is not enough to invent a new revenue story.
